Shipping and Returns Policy

Tanning Buyers Group is committed to reducing costs and to ship effectively and quickly. Please read our shipping and returns policy in advance of placing your order so you can familiarize yourself with our shipping and returning standards.

All orders placed via the order system are immediately issued for fulfillment. During regular business hours most orders placed prior to 2pm EST ship same day.

All items are either shipped directly from manufacturers or their authorized distributors.

Tanning Lotion and Routine Supply Shipping Policy

Orders over $150 ship free* freight

A $1.50 processing fee is assessed to all orders

Qualifying* tanning lotion and / or supply orders are shipped using UPS™ or FEDEX™. These qualifying* shipments of lotions and / or supplies will be shipped freight free when the order exceeds $150.00 ($1.50 flat rate process fee all orders) and ships to any of the contiguous states.

Shipments that are below $150.00 will be shipped based on tiered shipping rates (automatically shown in your cart and throughout checkout) via UPS™ or FEDEX™ or whichever shipper is best for the given supplier to ship your order to you.

Most shipments arrive within 3 business days.

If you do not have your order within 5 business days please contact us HERE as this is not a normal timeframe and some issue may be slowing the delivery.

There is an additional fee to expedite shipping on your order. IF you wish expedited shipping please NOTE it in the comments section during the checkout process along with a phone number we can confirm your wishes in advance of shipment as 2nd and Overnight costs can be quite high.

All C.O.D. orders are charged an $12.50 transaction fee. Any unpaid or nonpaid COD shipments will be charged to your secondary payment method. No COD shipments will be made to clients without a backup CC payment onfile. Any fees associated with nonpaid CODs must be paid by client.

*Qualifying Products Policy - How you get FREIGHT FREE.

Most items qualify for freight free. However large, bulky and heavy items DO NOT QUALIFY and you will pay shipping on orders for larger items, such as sunless solutions tubs, parts, lamps & equipment.

Supplier will use the most cost efficient method of shipment on these items. Shipment of NON QUALIFYING items may be done using UPS™, FEDEX™, common carrier or similar shipping method to ensure timely delivery with best pricing for your delivery.

This offer only applies to the contiguous states.

Recieving and Verification Policy (no lamps in shipment)

When your order arrives you should verify contents. You have 2 business days (EXCLUDES LAMPS see policy below) to report any problems with your shipment. Obvious external damage MUST be noted on UPS or FEDEX when signed for.

Take photos with your phone or camera of any damage and retain all products until any problems are resolved.

Lamp Specific Recieving and Verification Policy

Tanning lamps by their nature are fragile and may be damaged during shipping. When you get your tanning lamp delivery you are required to check the condition of the boxes as well as assess each one for internal breakage by making sure NO BROKEN GLASS SOUNDS can be heard from inside the box on delivery. If you hear and / or see breakage you MUST WRITE A DETAILED NOTE ON THE BILL OF LADING to qualify for replacements.

Additionally you must open and inspect all the contents and verify the working status of the lamps within the 2 business day timeframe as with all other orders.

Return Replacement Policy

Product & supply returns will be handled directly with the supplier of the item to be returned. You can report your issue using the phone number on your specific package. You are also welcome to submit a request via email to ITBG and we will happily submit your issue to the supplier.

Any item ordered that is defective will be replaced or refunded at no additional charge when reported as stated on this policy page.

Any returnable products mistakenly ordered by salon must be pre-authorized and be given an RA# and then shipped by salon and returned in new condition within 14 days from original invoice for refund or credit. Some suppliers have a restocking fee. If applicable this will be provided at time RA# is issued.

Due to their nature, sunless solution tubs, lamps & equipment are not returnable. Please verify you are ordering the correct item/quantity prior to completing the transaction.

If you have an item that is damaged in shipping or defective upon arrival call your vendor as soon as possible to initiate a resolution. This enables the supplier to quickly begin the process and determine a proper course of action.
